Bert Twaalhoven - scientific advocate of entrepreneurship

In 1952 Dr. Bert Twaalfhoven graduated from the Fordham University in New York and shortly after; in 1954 he received his MBA at Harvard Business School. As founder of the European Foundation for Entrepreneurship Research (EFER) and former president of Indivers B.V, Dr. Twaalfhoven received many awards. Among them are the reknown Annual Alumni Award from the Harvard Business School for his activities in stimulating entrepreneurship in Europe. He also holds the "Koning Willem I" Award given out every two years for outstanding company performance. It is the most prestigious Dutch accolade being awarded by no other than Z.K.H. Prince Bernard. Currently Dr. Twaalfhoven is living in the Netherlands, largely spending time on collecting 17th century maps of New York and Cape Cod.
