Olcay Gulsen - Business Babe of the Year 2008
Born Armenian/Kurdish and Dutch, Olcay Gulsen started her own company ‘2Stepzahead' at an age of 21, without much support from her surroundings. During the Amsterdam Fashion week, where she presented labels such as Criminal and 5th avenue, she met the owner of Supertrash, and started a successful cooperation. When Olcay took over and bought Supertrash in 2009, the brand's success expanded extensively. Olcay Gulsen got awarded as the ‘fashion entrepreneur of the year' by Jackie, and in Quote she was listed as ‘Business Babe of the year 2008'. In addition Olcay Gulsen is the face of Philips new campaign 'Talking Fashion Is Knowing Your Coffee', and is planning to found ‘Jay4Chance' to provide chanceless children education.
